Today’s Quote: If I asked you to name all the things that you love, how long would it take for you to name yourself?
I managed to do some updates: Shatter Effect Graphic Tutorial (check it out, I am very proud of how it turned out) and One responsive WP Theme. I hope you enjoy them.

First thing first, I am so happy that I managed to figure out to do responsive designs. Oh, only the responsive theme. It took me five hours to figure out how to integrate the coding and the CSS, but it’s a good thing I figured out how. I still have a lot of thing to learn, also, since my designs have images as backgrounds, I want to figure out a way to scale every single image, so probably it will take a while. But it’s a start. I will try to practice more, so you can expect more free to download website layouts.

I want to give my thanks to Adrianne for the suggestions she gave me, the fact that she explained a few things about responsive designs to me and also for encouraging me. So thank you sweetheart, I really appreciate it. Also big thanks to Jamie for giving me her CSS code for responsive designs, even if I prefered to do my own. It was a nice gesture and I really appreciate it.

Since I last blogged, I tried to complete some of the things I wanted to do this week. I continued cleaning the apartment (but yesterday I took a break because I was really tired), I am planning on finishing today. I only have the kitchen left to clean (but it’s the hardest) so it shouldn’t take more than today.

I posted some more updates on this website, I decided to add celebrity cutouts because I love doing them. When I am cutting the images, I can think about everything, because for me is only a motor act, I don’t really have to focus on the image itself. Also, I made two more website layouts (non-responsive) for you to use and I added 3 responsive CSS templates. They are simple coding, maybe you can use them to understand how the codes work or you can start customizing them. It’s up to you.

I posted to tutorials (but they are pretty basic). I decided to start adding basic tutorials too, because sometimes it is so hard for me to figure out some extremely easy things and I almost never find something that can make me understand how it works. I am thinking about doing a graphic tutorial, but those take forever to write (the double exposure one took me half a day to make).

For now, I want to start practicing the responsive designs and starting some serious blogging. I want to create some blog series and say my opinion on different matters (I am kind of tired to only write about what I do and my website updates). I want to write something meaningful, about the serious matters in this world. I will brainstorm a little and I will come up with some ideas.

Tomorrow I am going to visit my summer practice teacher. Me and a colleague of mine want to buy him a present because he was always nice to us, he helped us no matter what and for me, he did way more: he talked with a colleague of his when I had my panic attack and the doctor received me the second day even if I didn’t had an appointment. So yeah, he is an amazing person. I just remembered that he told us to read about sepsis and septic shock. He is always looking to teach us something, even if I made myself clear that we only want to pay him a visit). I have to add that on my to do list for today.

Also, on Friday morning my parents are coming to visit me. They want us to buy some more furniture (my apartment is not finished yet because we didn’t had enough money when we bought it) and help with with some issues I have with the electric installation. Also we get to spend time together. I love that they are coming here because I didn’t want to travel to my hometown because it takes a lot of time and I had a lot of things to do here.

Have a nice day and take care.

Responsive themes are really good to know how to make. They are more fluid and easier to translate into mobile. At first, when mobile devices first started accessing websites, I hated coding in anything but a static design. I was like, “screw that! Websites are for PCs not for phones!” I’ve changed my view on this. I’m going to go check out your themes and resources now ~~~

As always, your website is SO BEAUTIFUL. I can’t even stand it!!! Yes I can. I LOVE IT!! AHHH!!! (btw, I’m still sick so I’m a little crazy!)

You’re always welcome Cristina! Glad to hear you’ve figured how RWD works. :) I don’t know if I should say it’s easy, more like “trial and error” tricky, because how you create your media queries all depends on how you lay out your entire design.

If you think about it though, lots of (hobbyist) web designers/developers don’t really care about this whole RWD stuff. But at the same time, it’s also good to know about this as a preparation to what the future of technology is going to be like. Now we’ve got all these Apple watches and VRs and Google Glasses and other stuff related, time may probably come that we would have to start working on our designs to cater to those types of users too. (I don’t own any one of them, but you know, it’s a good skill that can attract customers if you know what I mean ;) )

Although I also figured out RWD some years ago, I still prefer building my sites using frameworks. Much faster and more efficient that way, and I don’t have to deal/panic. ^^

Other than that, good luck with everything else. I’ve tried starting a blog series years ago, but I failed, mainly because time and lack of inspiration still continue to defeat me. :(

I can’t wait to see more celebrity cutouts.

You would be good doing tutorials. You have the experience. I barely have the experience. I just know the basics. You probably know the ins and outs when it comes to a website like how to make a layout, coding, etc. You would be the perfect person to ask.
