Hello 2017

Posted on: January 7th, 2017, in Life, Website.

The store offers will end on January 15. Hurry up and check them out.

First of all, happy new year. I hope this year will bring you the best things and may all your wishes and dreams come true. Sincerely, I am so glad 2016 is over. I can’t say it was a bad year, because I had amazing moments in the past year, also 2016 was the year I took some decisions that influenced me in so many positive ways, but overall 2016 was a weird year. I didn’t understand a lot of things and also a lot of bad things happened too. I am thankful that is over and I hope 2017 will be a year that will make more sense to me.

I hope you had amazing holidays and you spend quality time with your family and friends. I definitely had. I rested a lot, I relaxed, went out with my friends, spend time with my relatives and I finally managed to catch up with some TV shows. Except the fact that I had an awful flu that made things a little harder for me, the holidays were exactly what they’re supposed to be. Let me show some photos I took during the holidays.

In the first photo you can see my hometown’s city center and the Christmas lights. In the second photo you can see the river that passes through the city. I loved the way it looks when the water is frozen.

On Christmas day I went visiting my grandparents. I decided to take a walk in the forest. The view was breathtaking. Also it was nice to remember where I spend my childhood. Oh, so many memories. Sometimes I miss being a child.

On the third Christmas day me and my parents decided to go to a mountain resort. We took some amazing photos and we spend some quality time together. Too bad I don’t know how to ski, but someday I will learn.

Also I managed to crate a theme for Michelle. Check out her blog to see the result. It’s floral and cute.

This is it for now. Talk to you soon. Take care <3
1. How did you spend your holidays?
2. How was 2016 for you?
3. What do you expect from 2017?

Let’s make this year the grandest of all the years that passed. Happy 2017 to you Cristina.

1) As usual: “lazying” around doing nothing but reading mangas and books, watching movies….and I ate lots of sweets and cakes – had to get my fill before restarting my diet.

2) It was good….and kind of an on-going Amazon shopping spree – I think I bought more DVDs and manga this year alone than in all the last few years. xD

3) I hope I can find a job; aside from that, my wish is for 2017 to be as quiet and serene as last year. :)

Thank you so much for the theme! I love it so much and I am glad you had a great holiday. I did too! ^^ May we always be friends!

1) Nothing special; I spent time with my family, getting visits from relatives (pretty annoying but at least it only happens once a year), eating as many sweets as I could to compensate for the post-holidays diet, etc. ;)

2) A big Amazon shopping spree year – last year I bought the equivalent of 2 normal years. :D

3) I just hope it’ll be as quiet and serene as 2016 was – but hopefully with much less movie stars passing away (Alan Rickman). :( :(

Hope you’re feeling better now! Being sick is awful…

On the plus sounds like you had a nice holiday! Lovely pictures! I love the river (sucker for water pics)!

And that theme is so cute!

Happy new year! Great to see snow. I don’t have any snow in the place where I lived…

Ah, you posted this 2 weeks ago and no one commented? *gasp*

I’m actually thinking about opening a store myself too, offering some themes as well (WordPress, probably Tumblr themes and Blogger themes too, but we’ll see what happens), but I really don’t know where to start. It’ll be a shop for my creative/tutorial journal blog, which I’m working on moving to a new domain (currently hosted as a subdomain of my portfolio). You’ve always done amazing work as always and I’m glad that the more I see you showcase your work for someone’s site/blog, the more that I feel that you’re really stepping up to your skills and I admire that.

I didn’t do anything special on Christmas. I had to stay home and work countless hours, but the hard-earned money was worth it. Just spending the Christmas season out in the forests looks so lovely, but there’s now “winter” here in California. Our “snow” is rain and more rain. ^^

Will keep in touch again!

Happy New Year Cristina! :)

Oh, being sick during the holidays sucks! But looks like you still had a great time with your family, which is great! And great photos too! :)

1. How did you spend your holidays?
– For Christmas, it was nothing special because it’s not really a holiday in Taiwan. I was actually writing my final paper on Christmas Eve and Christmas Day, but no biggie! For New Year, I went with my friends to Taipei 101 to see the annual fireworks show :)

2. How was 2016 for you?
– 2016 was overall a great year, I had one of my lowest lows during that year but there were more ups than downs, which is good. I learned lots of things about myself, what with moving to a new country and all.

3. What do you expect from 2017?
– Hmm, I hope it would be better than 2016. Actually, I still don’t know what to expect for 2017 but for this year I’m planning to focus more on myself and my health, because I really neglected my health during the previous year.

Happy new Year! :-D I had a fairly busy Christmas period and then had the flu over New Year too. :-(

I’m glad you had a good holiday and was able to spend a lot of time resting and relaxing! That’s too bad about the flu, but spending time with your friends and family sounds fun. The Christmas lights at your hometown and the scenery at your grandparents’ are pretty.

I haven’t been skiing in a long time, but one time, my friend suggested cross country skiing. You don’t need to know how to ski for it, and it’s very relaxing!

I spent my holidays mostly with family and also at home. 2016 had its ups and downs for me, but I think it was good overall. I hope you have a great 2017!
