Today’s Quote: Never love anybody who treats you like you’re ordinary.

Remember how I was telling you I wanted to do some blog series, I figured out the days I am going to post and everything. I am still not sure about what to blog about, but I have a few ideas. I decided that every two weeks I am going to do a blog called “10 Things” in the days of Friday.

Today I am going to tell you 10 things about me. They are random facts and I am going to say a few words about every single one of them.
1. I like watching romantic comedies even if some of them are such a cliche. I mean, I watch them, and I am like “this is so stupid, this never happens in really life”, but I am still watching them. it’s one of my guilty pleasures.

2. I am a procrastinator. If I have a long to do list, I look at it and I try to postpone every single thing until the last moment. I am so lazy and I like to just hand around doing nothing even if I have a million things I have to get done. Then I regret it of course, because I have to do everything in a hurry.

3. I start books that I never finish. I have started so many books to read and I never finish them. It’s frustrating, because when I see a book I want to read in the store, I read half of it and then something gets in the way and I can’t finish them, I just forget about them and then I buy another book and I start that and it happens again. I have a goal that until the end of the year finish reading all the books I started reading. I have a few, but right now I started to read another one I bought yesterday (and it’s a trilogy).

4. I love young adult fiction. The hunger games, Divergent, Champion, Delirium etc. I love them. These are the books I always finish reading. I think I can relate with the characters (even if I am older than them) and I love the dystopian societies. It’s again one of my guilty pleasure.

5. I am passionate about WWII and Hitler. I like reading about it, I love watching documentaries about it. I guess I am just trying to understand how could the nazi kill so many people without any remorse. In my opinion it was the worst thing in the history. So many innocent people died. I don’t want to imagine what would’ve happened if Germany won the war. I am glad they didn’t.

6. I have in interest in politics. Politics was a subject that interested me. It is because politicians determine our future. The problem is that I get really annoyed because you don’t have to be a genius to figure out somebody is a liar and nothing’s ever change.

7. I am scared that Trump is going to win. I know I am not an US citizen and it may seem that I shouldn’t be concerned what happens in the US, but I am. The reason why I am concerned is that the US is one of the greatest powers on the world, and the decisions the politicians take there influence the whole world, including me. In my opinion Donald Trump is not a leader. He is a very good business man, but he is not a politician and he doesn’t have what it takes to be a president. He is right about a few things, but on other matters he is an extremist. I don’t like Clinton either, but between them, I would choose Clinton if I were to vote (at least she knows what diplomacy is considering that she was the first lady, she was secretary of state and she knows more about presidency and heavy decisions a president has to make than Trump will ever know).

8. I like helping people. I consider that everyone needs help sometimes. We can’t do it all alone. I am happy to help people, I am always nice to everyone and I try not to jump to conclusions too fast. I consider than in order for my existence in the world to mean something you have to do good.

9. I hate hurting people and I hate being disrespectful to people, no matter what they do. If I consider that I’ve had enough and somebody hurts me and does me harm, I like explain to the person what they did and that I am hurt. If they keep doing it I prefer to distance myself from that person in time, without creating a fuss about it and continue my life in peace.

10. I didn’t always wanted to become a doctor. I wasn’t passionate about medicine when I decided to apply for medical school. I took a decision based on facts and what’s better for my future. I came to love it along the way. I was so scared in my first year that I will not like it, that I worked so hard to do something I will not like. But fortunately I discovered that I like what I am studying, I like helping people, I am not grossed of everything I see in the hospitals. It’s good. I don’t regret my decision. The only problem I have is that the stress is so high, that it affected my health, but I guess that’s the price you have to pay in order to help other people. You have to sacrifice something.

These were some facts about me. I know they are random but I just wrote the first thing that came into my mind. I am not a very interesting person. I will write another 10 things post in two weeks, so stay tuned. Now I would like to know something about you:

1.Can you relate to any of these facts?
2. Tell me three facts about you. I want to get to know you better.

I can definitely relate. I am a procrastinator when it comes to assignments. I’ll do the assignment the night before it’s due. That’s rarely. I tried to do it when I get the assignment. That way, I get it out of the way and I can do other things. I’ll only do it the night before it’s due if I have other things to do that take priority over the assignment.

I start books that I never finish and I love young adult fiction. I started reading Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban ebook. I didn’t get a chance to read it because I’ve been busy with work, school, and other things. Eventually, I’ll finish reading it. I like to read Charmed and Goosebumps books. I want to read the rest of the Harry Potter series, then the Twilight series.

I am scared that Trump is going to win. I couldn’t agree more. I heard people will move to Canada if Trump wins. If he does win, then maybe I’ll follow those people to Canada. We’ll see what happens in November.

I like helping people and I hate hurting people. I like helping people too. It feels good to give back to the community when you do a community service. I don’t like hurting people either. I’m not a confrontation type of person. I’ll be straight up with you and not beat around the bush if your the type of person who gives off a bad vibe and tries to spread it on to me.

I didn’t always wanted to become a doctor. You be what you want to be. Being a doctor isn’t for everyone. The medical field isn’t as easy as you think. The medical terms, learning the anatomy, etc. Do something that your passionate about.

Hm, let’s see…

#1 – I love watching romantic comedies too. Lately I’ve been really into shoujo manga (which is a lot of it are rom-coms). I actually started writing an original rom-com fic in that genre but I haven’t progressed much.

#3 – I too love to start reading books and never finish them. One of them is “Inferno” by Dan Brown. There’s a movie coming out soon, and since I’m so picky with “book-based” movies, I thought about going back to continue reading it again.

#4 – I’m not much of a fan of dystopian themes, but I would read ones that are very well-written. I enjoyed The Hunger Games series and I’m still in the middle of Insurgent (2nd book of the Divergent series). Other than that, I’m more into the classic YA fics of all genres, from Margaret L’Engle’s “A Wrinkle in Time” and anything by Katharine Patterson, Beverly Cleary, Judy Blume.

#5 – I just like history in general from all parts of the world. The latest that I’m reading about so far are about the Shinsengumi, Japan’s first police/law enforcement squad of samurai (and also the last samurai squad altogether before the modernization/Meiji Era began). In fact, I found my guilty pleasure of playing mobile otome games using Shinsengumi characters and events LOL.

#7 – When I pick a candidate, I base them on what their beliefs and their sides of the common issues we as a country are facing, rather than who they are as characters or their past. It’s obvious that H. Clinton is a much more qualified candidate over a real estate businessman who has a long history of various bankruptcies and corporate-related lawsuits. I don’t like how Trump is looking at the U.S. like it’s another business to him, with the American people as his “employees,” and knowing his stance against non-whites (and I’m speaking as a non-white), I too am nervous when he becomes president.

#8 – I like helping people also, as long as I don’t get taken advantage of or having my kindness being taken for granted. Well, you already know the story behind that LOL.

#9 – I’m the same, but then, what happens if the person you want to distance yourself with continues to stalk you? (something to ponder…)

Okay, so, my three random facts:

#1 – I earned my red belt in Taekwondo back in my college days. I wasn’t able to pursue my black belt because of graduation and my first job. Even though I haven’t trained in awhile, I still remember the basics.

#2 – Back in high school, most of my friends were members of various hip-hop dance crews. I was the only nerdette (who still looked cool) and somewhat the odd one out of my old circle. Today, some of them are dance instructors, and even though I suck at dancing in general, they would always invite me for dance sessions and get my groove. Sometimes. ^^

#3 – I am obsessed with my handwriting. I’ve always considered myself as an artist, but never have I become so artistically obsessed with a particular art medium other than my handwriting. That’s why I love lettering and calligraphy, which is today, a dying art.

I never mentioned these in my profile on my sites, but here they are. :D

1) I like rom-coms just fine but, if I have to choose, give me an action or fantasy flick any time.

2) YEESSS!! “Why do things today when you can do them tomorrow?” is one of my favorite sayings and mottos

3) I love reading and get easily sucked into a good book…so I do finish all the books I start, I can’t actually put a book down until I got to the end!

4) I like some movie versions of YA fictions, but the books….meh. I much prefer horror writers like H.P. Lovecraft; also, I’m a complete sucker for romance novels (Nora Roberts, Kathleen E. Woodiwiss, etc.).

5) I hate that part of history….mostly because my dad loves it and thus our kitchen tv is very often set on movies and documentaries about that period. u_u

6) My interest in politics is limited to voting for my political party at the elections, otherwise imo politicians are all the same: filthy thieves who keep stealing honest people’s money.

7) I completely agree: Trump is dangerous and unfit to be president because he has no foreign affairs experience, he’s not diplomatic at all, he’s too extremist and has no mouth filters; if he were to become president, he would probably end up causing a world war.

8-9) I like helping my friends and family, and loathe hurting or even being ill-mannered toward someone, but otherwise I tend to be self-centered; I’ve seen and heard of too many instances where the only thanks people had for trying to help was being hurt.

10) I had no real interest toward any profession when I was a kid; I just wanted a job that would allow me to remain close to my parents and keep a sort of daily routine. I found 2 of these jobs (travel agency and office lady in a press brake tools company), but they didn’t last.

It’s always fun to learn about other people, so I like the random facts type things :) I feel like there’s a procrastinator in all of us, haha. I definitely have things I keep putting off, and when it comes to things with deadlines, I keep telling myself to start earlier, but sometimes getting motivated is hard.

I tend to finish books that really draw me in, but if they don’t, I feel like it’s ok to leave it unfinished. If I were truly interested, then I feel like I wouldn’t have left it part-way through.

I live in the US, and the possibility of Trump being president really scares me. I don’t think he is even a good business man, as he has many failed businesses in the past. I just hope that it doesn’t come to that later on.

I think that’s great that you ended up liking what you study! I didn’t always want to get into Computer Science, but I’m glad I did. I ended up loving programming more than I originally thought.

Hm… a couple other facts about me… I do photography on the side, and I like to cosplay!

I’m passionate about history, and especially European history and the French Revolution of 1789. <3 I'm 4'10" and weird. I have a yellow Labrador named Marley, and I live with her and my husband. I suffer from mental illness and I love writing and reading nonfiction especially historical nonfiction.

That's just a little about me <3

I can definitely relate to a lot of these. I love young adult fiction too, it’s the genre I read most of. And I also leave books unfinished for a very long time if I’m not enjoying them (I then go back years later so I can feel like I’ve finished it though). Romantic comedies are a definite guilty pleasure of mine. I can watch Drew Barrymore’s ones over and over again!

I think most people end up choosing a career pretty quickly, because you have to choose a path at a pretty young age. I applied for three very different subjects when I was applying for university, because I didn’t know what I wanted. I’d have loved to do all three!

Um, three facts about me:
#1 – I’m allergic to cats, which is really annoying when it comes to visiting people who have cats.
#2 – I’ve never been out of the UK.
#3 – I love reading comic books, manga and graphic novels.

I can definitely relate to liking young adult fiction! They are definitely one of my guilty pleasures, but I’m also picky about what I read XD I do like reading them because they are easy reads, and it’s just fun.

I am also a huge WWII/Holocaust aficionado. That’s my favourite historical period to read and study about.

Since it’s been awhile, I’m going to first say that I LOVE your new theme! It’s gorgeous and it makes me want to get a jump start on revamping my site.

I can definitely relate to a lot of these facts, though. And as a U.S. citizen who happens to be a registered voter, I will assure you that Trump won’t become president because of my vote. And there’s plenty of my friends that agree with me. It’s really cool that you care about this stuff even though you’re so far away.

Now for my facts:

1) I don’t mind spending time alone. I saw a movie by myself last night and it was great. I loved having complete control. Plus I get so sick and tired of people.

2) I like alternative rock. It may not seem like from my appearance but I love to rock out to bands like the Foo Fighters and Incubus. My extended family was surprised when they learned that I’m not a Taylor Swift fan.

3) I appreciate the little things. Whether it’s a nice sunset or a hot shower or the listening ear of a friend. Life gets hard sometimes so I feel like it’s important to appreciate what you have, no matter how minuscule.

I love to read. I always finish reading books I like until the end of the last chapter. I like reading young adult, supernatural and romance genre books :)

I don’t like history/political news. I think they’re boring :/

Facts about me? I dunno how to whistle nor do cartwheels. I always hated going to gym class. I got picked on a lot cause of the teasing and hurtful words cause of my appearance. ;(
